My See That Gleam album release show at Lola’s Room was written up as a Willamette Week Pick! I was happy to see the event get some attention but the write-up is a bit bitter-sweet. I shouldn’t complain being compared to Cat Stevens and Paul Simon but the rest leaves me a bit unsettled. I’m not one to complain so I’ll be thankful for what I get.

I just received notice that my song Whistle Stop was featured in an interview with Jonathan Poneman, co founder of SubPop Records on RoadtripNation.com! If you scroll to roughly the six-minute-mark you’ll hear it playing softly in the background- barely noticeable but present nonetheless. I’m hoping for more of my music to be featured on the PBS television series Roadtrip Nation (in 2009) but until then, this web video will suffice. Enjoy the taste and expect more to come.
