I arrived in Salt Lake City on Tuesday to find that my new album Bittersweet Parade had finally arrived! I had them shipped to my parent’s house because I had a concert Wednesday night at Velour and I simply couldn’t wait the extra couple weeks to receive the product that I’ve spent years pushing toward completion.

All of that said, I officially have the albums in-hand and am so excited to start spreading the record far and wide. Though it will be another month before it is available on CD Baby or iTunes, you can sample the songs below and help me spread the word about my latest creation – Bittersweet Parade.

While driving through Montana on my way to Nashville, I looked to my left to see a lone fisherman standing in a river — it seemed obvious that the man was exactly where he wanted to be. As my wheels turned toward the east, I realized I could relate:

I am a fisherman;
Not in the sense
That I stand at the shoreline in sport,
But in the way I cast my words.

Today is the eve of what I believe to be my best show in Nashville (to date). I’ll be playing at a lovely place called The Listening Room and I’ll be joined by a slew of talent. I’m extra excited for this showcase because I get to play twice as many songs as usual and it will be broadcast LIVE on UARadio.net!!!
