As far as I can tell,
There are three kinds of stars:
One is up in space,
Where only rocket ships are.
One of them is in Hollywood,
Addicted to fame.
The other crossed my path,
To leave me not the same.
I’m one part star–
It’s the best part of me.
I’m one part scar–
That part reminds me that I bleed.
All we are is the makeup of our hearts.
All our hearts are Stars and Scars.
In every drop of my blood
There is a piece of the past;
Long forgotten films
Of love that did not last,
Where every star in the credits
Has faded away
(But still finds a way to hurt you
Every time it plays).
I’m one part star–
It’s the best part of me.
I’m one part scar–
That part reminds me that I bleed.
All we are is the history of our hearts.
All our hearts are Stars and Scars.
I’m one part star–
It’s the best part of me.
I’m one part scar–
That part reminds me that I bleed.
All we are is what happened to our hearts.
All our hearts are Stars and Scars.
