As an artist, I’ve spent my life looking up — always comparing myself to my “famous” idols and influences and feeling totally insignificant as a result. Well, a little bird just sent me these three videos and all at once, I was gifted perspective.
The video(s) below are of a total stranger, someone I’ve never met in my life, covering a few of my original songs (all the way down in Arizona). It’s moments like these that I need to sit back, appreciate the gravity of this gesture and realize that my day has come.
