To whom it may concern,
Have you noticed a bit of silence from my end? I know it’s a new thing—trust me, it feels weird for me too—but I ask you to bear with me. You see, while I’m being quiet in public, I’m busy making (elegant) noises in the recording studio.
Yep, I’m working on a new EP that is slated to be out in November!
At the moment, the project doesn’t have a name. Well, I guess it does. Because it’s 100% about my daughter, Ruth, I guess you can call it that for now. Surely, that won’t stick, but let’s put it as a placeholder for the five-song EP.
Rest assured, I still have a couple local shows you can catch this fall, but for the most part, my plan is to bury my head in the studio. With everything I have going on in my life, I think that’s the only way it can become a reality. Can you find it in your heart to forgive me?
I hope you will. And I hope you’ll plan on listening to Ruth when it comes around.
