This last week I got the opportunity to do a phone interview with Ruth Copland at KSCO AM in central California. This was my third time appearing on her show “It’s a Question of Balance” so, in the spirit of the show’s title, we talked about the balance within my writing.

To showcase this variety, we played several songs from my catalog (Say No More, Screwtape, The Arsonist and Babysitting the Cowboy), which are all very different beings. The hope here was to showcase songs from the four corners of my catalog, in an attempt to illustrate the spectrum of my art and my approach to each piece.
To top off the balancing act that is my writing, I also got the chance to discuss my new children’s book, “There’s Certainly a Santa,” that I wrote and recently released in collaboration with my sister. This was my first time talking about this project in a public setting, so it felt good to let the cat out of the bag (so to speak) and finally showcase this new medium within my writing catalog.

Thank you Ruth for the interview and for allowing me to talk about my music and more!
