Singer-Songwriter
of elegant folk
Wyoming-born, Oregon-raised, Nashville-fortified, Tyler Stenson’s signature “Elegant Folk” songs are a tightly crafted blend of poignant poetry and twang.
Locally, Stenson was named “Songwriter of the Year” by the Portland Songwriters Association and “Best Male Artist” at the Portland Music Awards. On the national stage, he was hand-picked by legendary producer Don Was as a TOP 10 Finalist in Guitar Center’s “Great American Songwriter” Search and by Adam Duritz (Counting Crows) to perform in his Outlaw Roadshow Showcases (SXSW + NYC).
With airplay on SiriusXM’s The Coffee House, placements in Chevrolet ads, and features in popular TV series, Stenson has shared the stage with renowned artists such as LeAnn Rimes, John Popper, Chris Isaak, George Ezra, Marc Cohn, and many more across his two-decade career.

I Am Not Dead …
You may have noticed I'm not playing as often as I used to. This hibernation season has been a valuable opportunity to prioritize my young family, mend my damaged voice, and reset my relationship with the thing that haunts / fills me most ... music.
"I am not dead," Sir Andrew said.
"I'm wounded — not slain.
Just let me lie here and bleed awhile,
Then I'll rise to fight again."
After a prolonged silence, I'm ready to return.
Not only am I now booking for 2025, but I'm endlessly excited to announce that I'm tracking a new studio album to be released later this year!
Keep an eye out for dates and updates. Much love.
All Tyler, all the time
